How
to get started
The normal Photo Montage has a duration of about 12 minutes, but we have done several that were as long as an hour. For whatever length video you decide to go with, plan on about ten pictures per minute and one song per 30 pictures.
You will then want to put the pictures in some type of chronological order. For example, if you are picking out pictures for an anniversary video for you parents, your sections of pictures might look like this: Parents Growing up, Parent’s Early Years, Young Family, Kids Growing Up, Vacations, Holidays, Special Events, Grandchildren, Recent Photos.
If you want to get more involved you can add old video footage as well. This is an excellent way to cover some of the events you might not have pictures of. Slides can also be added to the video.
For whatever occasion the Photo Montage is used for, it is a priceless gift that will be enjoyed by many and keep giving for years to come.
